New Trailers Released for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and Indiana Jones 5
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 AND Indiana Jones 5 WILL BOTH BE RELEASED NEXT YEAR
2023 is set to be an epic year for all the major franchises, including Indiana Jones and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.
The first official trailers have just been released for both films, giving us plenty to get excited about…
Guardians Of the Galaxy Vol. 3
Check out the new trailer for acclaimed director James Gunn’s final film showing in the Marvel universe here.
Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) and friends will return next year for another space-voyaging adventure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, concluding the ragtag intergalactic hero and heroine’s film trilogy. After appearances in both Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame (including a brief cameo in the recent Thor: Love and Thunder), the team will face a new threat from Elizabeth Debicki’s Ayesha, who plans revenge using a powerful new being, named simply "Adam".
Apart from the obvious religious connotations of the name, it remains a fun mystery who this new villain is and whether they serve a higher being…
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny
View the trailer here for what is rumoured to be the last Indiana Jones film and Harrison Ford’s last-ever acting role. It is also likely to be the final film project scored by renowned composer John Williams.
There’s plenty to look forward to in this fifth instalment in the series, including the return of several fan-favourite characters such as John Rhys-Davies’ Sallah. In addition, the now 80-year-old Harrison Ford will also receive the de-ageing effects treatment for a flashback sequence taking place in 1944 before the events of The Raiders of the Lost Ark.
The new story is set in the present day (the 1960s for our hero). It is not clear what the Dial of Destiny is; however, we can assume it to be another mystical relic steeped in history, similar to the Ark of the Covenant and the Holy Grail from previous series instalments.
The new instalment to the series also introduces Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s Helena, goddaughter to Indiana Jones.
