2024 is set to be a stellar year for fans of Marvel LEGO sets, following a raft of new set leaks over at Price Vortex.
Following the leak, fans can anticipate fourteen new releases at some point in the new year, with everything from Spider-Man and Captain America to Guardians of the Galaxy and X-Men. Take a look at the list below, separated by each Marvel sub-theme!
New Spider-Man LEGO Sets
- Venom & Doc Ock (76275)
- Venom Mech (76276)
- War Machine Mech (76277)
- Spider-Man’s Car (76279)
- Spider-Man vs. Sandman Final Battle (76280)
- Green Goblin Buildable Figure (76284)
- Spider-Man Buildable Figure 76298
- Iron Spider BrickHeadz 40670
There’s plenty to get excited about here for fans of the NYC web-slinger, with a host of villains in tow, including the iconic Green Goblin, Doc Ock and Venom. It will be interesting to see which film these are styled on, although they will most likely be from Spider-Man: No Way Home. Either way, it's a fun time for Spider-Man LEGO.
Guardians of the Galaxy
- Rocket Raccoon’s Warbird (76278)
- Rocket Raccoon Buildable Figure (76282)
- Potted Groot Brickheadz (40671)
The Warbird is the M-class craft that Rocket Racoon flew during the Battle of Xandar in the original Guardians of the Galaxy, which should translate well to a LEGO Star Wars-style flying ship. The tiny Groot at the end of the film was also a favourite with fans, so expect this to be a popular purchase for Marvel enthusiasts and GOTG LEGO fanatics to put on their desks!
Captain America
- Captain America: Brave New World Set (76292)
- Sam Wilson Captain America Buildable Figure 76296
The upcoming Captain America: Brave New World will hit cinemas in 2024, being the fourth instalment in the Captain America film series. It also sees Sam Wilson pick up the famous shield, hence this LEGO combo of a buildable figure and film tie-in set. Plot details for the new film are scarce; however, the director described the film as a “paranoid thriller”.
X-Men
- X-Men Jet The Blackbird (76281)
The X-Men Blackbird plane (styled on the real-world Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird) has been a series staple through comics, cartoons and movies. The craft was located in a disguised aircraft hangar at Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters and was regularly used to transport the X-Men between missions. The prospect of a brick-built LEGO version of the famous ship is enough to pique our interest.
