We previewed LEGO Harry Potter 76446 Knight Bus Adventure at the beginning of January, and it's now just a few days away from its March 1st release date. The Knight Bus has been the subject of several sets over the years, and it's always been popular with builders.
This new 499-piece set contains the Knight Bus itself, a brick-built bench and lamppost, Harry's trunk, and five LEGO Harry Potter Minifigures:
- Ernie Prang
- Harry Potter
- Padfoot
- Sleeping Witch
- Stan Shunpike
Each of the Knight Bus's triple decks is modular, allowing easy access to the interiors. With the five Minifigures, plus accessories including the Daily Prophet newspaper, a letter from Hogwarts and a Galleon coin, there are plenty of ways to play or decide how to display your Knight Bus Adventure set.

LEGO Harry Potter Diagon Alley: Wizarding Shops (76444) gives you so many display options: it can be a single row of shops 88cm long, a two-sided street with the storefronts facing one another, or five separate modular builds. There are also 12 minifigures to add to your collection, and a mini Knight Bus, making this a must-have for Knight Bus collectors too.
All in all, it's an impressive collection of seven famous Diagon Alley landmarks, including:
- Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlor
- Gringotts Wizarding Bank
- Mulpepper's Apothecary
- Ollivanders Wand Shop
- The Daily Prophet HQ
- The Leaky Cauldron
- Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes
With the highest piece count of all the 2025 LEGO Harry Potter new releases so far, this detailed set deserves to be the centre of attention and will work great alongside any Hogwarts Castle scenery.
Malfoy Manor (76453)
Price: $149.99
Release date: Available now
Pieces: 1,601
Size: 30cm x 17cm x 31cm (W x D x H)
Insider points: 975
One of the key locations from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows finally joins the LEGO Harry Potter family with this, the first official Malfoy Manor set. It's among the most detailed of the new releases, with 1,601 pieces to put together.
When you're done building, you'll have an authentic, intricate reconstruction of the manor house, which doubled as Voldemort's HQ in the Harry Potter movies. Iconic scenery includes the long table in the drawing room, a chandelier that falls from the ceiling, and a front gate to mark the entrance to the grounds.
To help recreate those pivotal moments from the story, you get a total of 10 characters:
- Harry Potter Minifigure
- Hermione Granger Minifigure
- Luna Lovegood Minifigure
- Dobby Minifigure
- Draco Malfoy Minifigure
- Lucius Malfoy Minifigure
- Lord Voldemort Minifigure
- Bellatrix Lestrange Minifigure
- Narcissa Malfoy Minifigure
- Nagini toy figure
With a recommended age of 10+, this is a great project for budding builders due to its high piece count, while the level of detail makes it an excellent choice for adult Potterheads too.
Hogwarts Castle: Flying Lessons (76447)
Price: $79.99
Release date: Available now
Pieces: 651
Size: 32cm x 15cm x 26cm (W x D x H)
Insider points: 520
This sweet set is ideal for imaginative builders, with a recommended age of 9+ and fairly simple assembly for first-timers.
Once assembled, the Hogwarts Castle ramparts fold out to allow the Transfiguration classroom and Quidditch room to slide out easily, so each can be played with separately. There's a fun Transfiguration function and multiple places to mount broom-riding minifigures to give the illusion that they are flying.
It's a bit basic in some ways, but the set includes two of the 14 collectible Hogwarts portraits, plus six LEGO Harry Potter Minifigures:
- Draco Malfoy
- Harry Potter
- Madam Hooch
- Neville Longbottom
- Oliver Wood
- Professor McGonagall
In terms of size, Hogwarts Castle: Flying Lessons (76447) is nearly as big as Malfoy Manor, giving a great sense of scale to modular Hogwarts Castle displays.
Hagrid & Harry's Motorcycle Ride (76443)
Price: $49.99
Release date: Available now
Pieces: 617
Size: 16cm x 12cm x 16cm (L x W x H)
Insider points: 325
Hop into Hagrid's sidecar for a thrilling flight! Hagrid & Harry's Motorcycle Ride (76443) is a very cute vehicle build aimed at builders aged 9 and above.
The set includes Hagrid's flying blue motorcycle and sidecar, with brick-built characters of Harry Potter, Rubeus Hagrid and Hedwig the Owl. There's plenty of interactivity, including:
- Motorbike wheels that turn
- Harry's wand-waving arm
- Hagrid's posable arms and head
- Hedwig's movable wings
It's a shame Hedwig doesn't get a mention in the name of this set, because the little brick-built owl figure is ADORABLE. Perched on a transparent strut at the back of the build, it really looks like Hedwig is racing to keep up, and adds to the fun of this character-filled play-and-display set.
Hogwarts Castle: Dueling Club (76441)
Price: $24.99
Release date: Available now
Pieces: 158
Size: 16cm x 4cm x 2cm (W x D x H)
Insider points: 162
Hogwarts Castle: Dueling Club (76441) is a great-value standalone scene from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. But if you have Hogwarts Castle: The Great Hall (76435) you can install the Dueling Club into it for an even more dazzling display.
One of the most impressive features of this set is its dynamic duelling action. Place minifigures on the studs at both ends of the platform and push the steps to send your opponent into a fall, flat on their back.
The set includes LEGO Harry Potter Minifigures of Harry, Draco Malfoy, Severus Snape and Gilderoy Lockhart, along with one of 14 collectible Hogwarts portraits. Harry and Draco both come with a wand and magic spell elements, so you can build a battle of wits between the two.
Combine with more Hogwarts Castle sets to create your own unique version of the infamous School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, with countless ways to decide which scenes to display.
Hogwarts Castle: Charms Class (76442)
Price: $19.99
Release date: Available now
Pieces: 204
Size: 24cm x 7cm x 8cm (W x D x H)
Insider points: 130
The final playset in our list of January 2025 LEGO Harry Potter new releases is Hogwarts Castle: Charms Class (76442) and like the rest of the line-up, this one looks like a whole lot of fun.
In this set, you get LEGO Minifigures of Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley and Professor Flitwick, along with magic wands for all three characters to hold. There's also a hidden lever to activate the 'floating' feather when the Professor casts the Wingardium Leviosa spell. And if you're collecting those 14 Hogwarts portraits, you'll get one in Hogwarts Castle: Charms Class.
Again, if you have Hogwarts Castle: The Great Hall (76435) you can slot the completed Charms Class into place, adding to the already detailed interior of the larger building. You can also insert the closed classroom into Hogwarts Castle: Flying Lessons (76447), allowing the two sets to be stored, displayed and played with together.
Regular readers will know we LOVE modular LEGO buildings, especially when you can combine them into an even bigger and better display. There are few more iconic locations than Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, so with these new LEGO Harry Potter modular playsets to choose from, it's already a very Happy New Year for Potterheads.
