All The Star Wars Ahsoka LEGO Sets Coming Out
THREE AHSOKA TANO LEGO TV SERIES SETS ARRIVE ON 1ST SEPTEMBER
In our previous blog, we discussed the upcoming Disney+ series, Star Wars Ahsoka, the latest in a line of exciting new TV offerings from the galaxy far, far away.
We’re continuing the countdown to the show’s premiere on 23rd August by taking a look at the three tie-in LEGO sets, all due for release on 1st September 2023. All three sets are available for pre-order today, so head over to the LEGO website to ensure you secure your orders.
Ahsoka Tano’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle – 75362
$79.99
The prequel era’s Jedi Starfighter was a thrilling ship with a unique conceptual design, going on to appear in its own computer game (2002’s Jedi Starfighter) and frequently popping up in The Clone Wars animated show.
Ahsoka Tano’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle builds on the classic starfighter, transforming it into a larger, space-faring transport shuttle with the same red and grey colour scheme. The crescent wings add a unique style to the design and can also be transformed between a vertical and horizontal configuration, increasing the display potential of the set.
The model comprises 601 bricks and includes new-for-September 2023 minifigures Ahsoka Tano, Sabine Wren, Professor Huyang and Marrok. Fans will already know Sabine from Star Wars Rebels and will also be excited to see the return of Huyang, the wise mentor robot from The Clone Wars who trained young Jedi in the art of constructing their lightsabers. The Marrok minifigure also gives us our first look at one of the villains of the new show, a former Inquisitor who now works as a mercenary for hire.
Ghost & Phantom II – 75357
$159.99
The Ghost is well-known to Star Wars Rebels fans, and we’re excited to see what part the ship and its crew play in the upcoming Ahsoka TV series.
This 1,394-piece, 2-in-1 set includes a detachable Phantom II shuttle, which looks just as good fixed to the rear of the model as when it does released for flight. The spherical cockpit accommodates two minifigures, and the look of the ship’s armour is enhanced with modest yet stylish green, gold, and red LEGO pieces. Minifigures include General Hera Syndulla, Lt. Beyta, Jacen Syndulla, First Officer Hawkins, and a Chopper (C1-10P) LEGO droid.
The legendary Hera Syndulla and her son Jacen will be familiar to Star Wars Rebels viewers, along with the faithful astromech droid, Chopper. Lieutenant Beyta will be a newcomer to Star Wars Ahsoka, and we’re interested to see what role the Mon Calamari assumes – it will be difficult for any character to fill Admiral Ackbar’s boots!
New Republic E-Wing vs Shin Hati’s Starfighter
$109.99
This twin model, 1,056-brick set includes two new ships from the show – a New Republic E-Wing and Shin Hati’s starfighter.
According to the showrunners, Shin is the apprentice of Baylon, a mysterious dark-side force-user whose origins will become clearer when the new series airs. Both are included as minifigures in the new set, and their ship looks like an interesting hybrid of a Naboo Starfighter and other ships from the Star Wars universe. The E-Wing reminds us of the kind of random craft that used to pop up in computer games such as X-Wing Alliance and Rogue Squadron back in the day before disappearing into space, rarely to be seen again. The smart blue and grey design leads us to think this ship acts in a galactic policing role for the struggling New Republic.
The set also includes minifigures of Morgan Elsbeth, Captain Porter, and a New Republic Astromech Droid. Morgan previously appeared in The Mandalorian as a despotic magistrate who tasked Din Djarin with killing Ahsoka Tano (who was then still in hiding). E-Wing pilot Captain Porter is a newcomer whose origins will presumably be revealed in the upcoming show.
Other Star Wars Ahsoka LEGO Sets
Two previous LEGO sets were released based on Ahsoka's appearance in The Clone Wars – Duel on Mandalore 75310 and Armored Assault Tank (AAT) 75283. Both sets are now retired, so you'll have to search on a resale site such as eBay to find them.
BrickHeadz fans can grab this LEGO exclusive collectible Ahsoka Tano, based on the heroine's younger appearance. The 332nd Ahsoka's Clone Trooper Battle Pack 75359 also offers a great chance to get some minifigures, or you could decorate your housekeys with the Ahsoka Tano Key Chain 854186.
The new show certainly has fans theorising – the question of whether Ahsoka is a Skywalker is currently trending on Google. We think that might be taking things too far, but stranger things have been dreamed of in the Star Wars universe! Talking of Skywalkers, we're keeping our fingers crossed that Luke may show up again in the new show to train Ahsoka or accompany her on some missions.
