LEGO Halloween MOCs to Expand Your Halloween Display

IT'S HALLOWEEN, EVERYONE'S ENTITLED TO ONE GOOD SCARE

LEGO Halloween MOCs

We love Halloween, but we can’t help but feel a little disappointed this year with LEGO. We think LEGO 21351 Disney Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas is fabulous, but where are all the little sets?

LEGO 854049 and 40493

Do you remember LEGO 854049 Pumpkin and Bat Duo and LEGO 40493 Spider and Haunted House Pack? We wish LEGO had released some more of those this year, as they are adorable and are a great family activity, with two builds in each pack.

Anyway, enough moaning like a ghost stuck in a wardrobe. We have found some spooktacular LEGO MOCs on Rebrickable that will help boost your LEGO Halloween display.

CARVING OUT A SPOOKY DISPLAY

We found six MOCS on Rebrickable that we wanted to share with you. They are all paid for instructions, ranging from $1 to $5. This could be the answer if you have a bunch of spare parts and gaps in your Halloween display.

THE SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME

LEGO MOC of Michael Myers

Michael Myers The Shape BrickHeadz

  • MOC: 47904, created by Brickdroid
  • Instructions Price: $2.50

We love this MOC! Brickdroid has done a sterling job of creating one of Halloween’s most well-known psychopaths in brick form. The hair is so cool, and the black soulless eyes are spot on. The optional staircase is a neat touch too.  If you enjoy this horror replica, check out some more of Brickdroid’s other creations.

LEGO Halloween Cemetary MOC

Halloween Cemetery

  • MOC: 160230 by Jedi Plb
  • Instructions Price: CA$1.99

This cemetery, created by Jedi Plb, is 1,930 pieces of Halloween spooky joy. We can imagine this MOC being populated by any of the LEGO Minifigures from Series 14. The roof is detachable so that your LEGO Minifigures may enter the sacred building and perform whatever rituals they usually do at this time of year.

LEGO Halloween Wreath MOC

Halloween Wreath

  • MOC: 88260 by Brick_Built_Babe
  • Instructions Price: $1.00

Brick_Built_Babe has done a beautiful job of reimagining the LEGO 40426 2-in-1 Christmas Wreath. The colours of this wreath invoke Autumn vibes, and the skulls and spiders give it that Halloween feel. This is a fantastic reworking of an existing LEGO set. If you enjoyed this creation, check out some more of Brick_Built_Babe's designs.

LEGO Witches House MOC

Witches' House

  • MOC: 159686 by Gr33tje13
  • Instructions Price: EU 6.00

This Witches’ house is perfect for adding to a Halloween display or even just as a display piece on its own. Gr33tje13’s use of colours gives it a bit of a creepy vibe, but the beautiful autumnal yellow trees offset that. It's the sort of house that unsuspecting children may wander into in a dark forest. Gr33tje13 is an outstanding LEGO architect; please check out their other amazing MOCs.

LEGO Dracula MOC

Dracula

  • MOC: 158141 by NicePartsUsage
  • Instructions Price: CA$2.99

We absolutely love this BrickHeadz-style Dracula by NicePartsUsage. They have captured his aesthetic frightfully well. The black and greying hair looks amazing, and the cape with red lining is fantastic. This MOC would look awesome next to LEGO 40422 Frankenstein (actually Frankenstein’s monster, not Frankenstein).

LEGO Freddy Kruger Glove MOC

Freddy Kruger's Bladed Glove (A Nightmare on Elm Street)

  • MOC: 118169 by anderson_brick_art
  • Instructions Price: $5.00

Wow, just wow, this is so amazing. For all you 80’s and 90’s horror fans out there, this is the MOC for you. anderson_brick_art has created a piece of true horror movie history out of LEGO. This makes LEGO 76250 Wolverine’s Adamantium Claws look pretty tame! We love the way the blades are created using the large figure weapon blade with a curled tip (11305).

LEGO Halloween builds book

If adding creepy cars and vile vehicles to your LEGO Halloween display is more up your street, then there is a book we discovered: Build Up Your LEGO Halloween Village.

This 94-page book shows you how to create seven spooky rides to jazz up your LEGO Halloween display, and these are a:

  • Halloween Locomotive
  • Pumpkin Car
  • Toxic Tanker
  • Frankenstein Car
  • Man-Eating Plant Car
  • Skeletal Stock Car
  • Caboose

We hope that this has helped you with your LEGO Halloween display this year and maybe for future years.

Do you put out many LEGO Halloween decorations? We would love to see your devilish displays. Please send us some pictures in the comments below.
