LEGO Teases Dungeons & Dragons Sets
NEW LEGO D&D COLLABORATION HIGHLIGHTED IN X POST
Back in 2022, the LEGO Ideas platform launched its ’50 Years of Dungeons & Dragons’ competition to select one fan-built MOC to enter LEGO production. The winning entry was BoltBuild’s Dragon’s Keep: Journey’s End, an epic 3D D&D playboard featuring a witches’ tower, tavern, dungeon and crypt.
The new LEGO Ideas set is expected to come out in April 2024. However, LEGO have now given fans even more to get excited about following a mysterious teaser published on their X account –
The short video shows a selection of LEGO accessories and a skeleton trapped inside a Gelatinous Cube, an iconic monster from the D&D world, which would entrap adventurers and slowly melt them alive through its acidic properties – friendly!
At first glance, this may have just been a teaser for the abovementioned Dungeons and Dragons IDEAS set. Still, many online are speculating that even more additional sets will see the light of release and that the IDEAS entry will be only the first in a new range.
