LEGO YouTubers - Connecting the Community One Brick At A Time

CREATIVE CONTENT

LEGO YouTubers

Nowadays, we rely on the internet for so much, including recipes, DIY, fitness, art, and sports; the list is endless. YouTube is the saviour for many of us with the amount of tutorial videos available, but it’s also a handy platform for reviews. Reviews of video games, movies, clothes, toys, you name it, someone on YouTube will have reviewed it.

We decided to take a look at some of the many LEGO YouTubers and came up with a list of some of our favourites, in no particular order.

JANG's LEGO reviews

Channel Name: JANG’s LEGO Reviews

Subscribers: 133K

Theme: LEGO Reviews

We love JANG’s LEGO Reviews as he provides his videos in a calm, positive and gentle way. In three years, he has accumulated over 133k subscribers to his inciteful LEGO review channel. We enjoy how he points out all the little details in sets, discusses the sturdiness of models, and is openly honest about things he likes and dislikes. JANG’s LEGO Reviews covers all themes of LEGO sets, and it is evident that he is passionate about what he does.

TD BRICKS

Channel Name: TD BRICKS

Subscribers: 5.4 Million

Theme: LEGO Experiments / Fun Facts

Tyler is such a fun guy, so it’s no wonder he has over 5 million subscribers - his channel TD BRICKS is so entertaining. It’s safe to say that he has accomplished his mission to prove that LEGO isn’t just for kids. The video in which he simulated natural disasters is brilliant and made us chuckle. Tyler’s channel shows him creating working LEGO weapons, building a maze for a hamster and creating life-size LEGO Minecraft items to name just a few. If you want someone to put the fun back into LEGO for you, check out TD Bricks, you won’t be disappointed.

Five Lonely Clones

Channel Name: Five Lonely Clones

Subscribers: 25.8K

Theme: LEGO Star Wars

Five Lonely Clones keeps his 25k+ subscribers entertained with a host of LEGO Star Wars content. We love the FiveLonelyClones channel as he is honest about his opinions, even if they may not be the most popular. We enjoy the ranking videos that he provides (Ranking EVERY LEGO Star Wars Stormtrooper Minifigure Ever Made for example) as they are pretty varied as to the LEGO Star Wars items he ranks. He offers excellent reviews of sets, looking at all aspects of the builds, stickers, colour schemes, LEGO Minifigures and value for money.

Solid Brix Studios

Channel Name: Solid Brix Studios

Subscribers: 618K

Theme: LEGO Star Wars & MOCs

We enjoy David’s channel, Solid Brix Studios; his presentation is fun, light-hearted and, again, honest, and he’s not afraid to voice his opinion. David uses the LEGO Minifigures included in sets to demonstrate the features of the build and makes valid comparisons to previous releases. We love that he also puts forth his ideas/opinions of what he thinks would’ve improved sets or what LEGO Minifigures should’ve been created.

Cheesey Studios

Channel Name: Cheesey Studios

Subscribers: 154K

Theme: LEGO Minecraft & Smaller Builds

We are big fans of Cheesey Studios channel as he produces great reviews of sets that we had forgotten about, like Aqua Raiders for instance. “Aqua who?” we hear you shout - just head over to his channel to find the answer to your question and rediscover this long lost LEGO theme.

This isn’t the only reason that we appreciate Cheesey Studios content, we enjoy how he examines the LEGO Minifigures and gauges if there are new prints, new hairpieces etc or whether they are reused. Plus, we think it’s cool that he adds information to the screen, so if you want to search for something he’s looking at, the details will be right there in front of you.

Cheesey Studios is another LEGO content creator who oozes an evident passion for these little multicoloured plastic bricks.

Beyond the Brick

Channel Name: Beyond the Brick

Subscribers: 1.4 Million

Theme: LEGO Events & MOCs

Beyond the Brick currently has 1.48m subscribers on YouTube and over 10m followers across all their platforms. As a result, they are the largest LEGO fan community in the world. We enjoy watching Beyond the Brick as you never know where they'll go next. They travel the world to discover new MOCS and explore LEGO events. Their content is fun and informative when looking at newly released LEGO sets and reviewing them. They give honest opinions and look at all aspects of the build and the LEGO Minifigures.

If you ever wanted to know what the world’s largest LEGO convention looks like, head over to Beyond the Brick and check out their Complete Tour of Brickworld Chicago 2024! World's Largest LEGO Convention, it’s incredible.

RacingBrick

Channel Name: RacingBrick

Subscribers: 226K

Theme: LEGO Technic

RacingBrick has accrued 226k subscribers in eight years. Balazs is a man who thoroughly enjoys LEGO Technic supercars and thoroughly enjoys talking about them, and we enjoy watching him, too. RacingBrick creates in-depth reviews about LEGO Technic sets, points out new pieces, explains the various phases of building, and examines the box art; there’s nothing that Balazs doesn’t look at.

Despite the name, RacingBrick doesn’t just review vehicles, he has been known to review some larger sets such as the LEGO 75810 Stranger Things The Upside Down. If you have not watched this channel before, please give it a watch as we think it's fantastic.

BrickBuilder

Channel Name: Brick Builder

Subscribers: 2.7 Million

Theme: LEGO Speed Builds & Reviews

Brick Builder is an excellent channel as they show you the entirety of the box art, all the contents of the box laid out nicely and a flick through the instruction manual. They show the whole build process, but it’s sped up to a decent pace, and time is taken to appreciate the LEGO Minifigures. There is no human interaction with their content - it is speed builds with some tuneage of varying sorts to accompany the visuals. These videos are great as you get to enjoy the build process and identify hidden areas, easter eggs, etc, and they can help you decide whether to purchase a set, especially if it’s expensive.
