New KFOL-Friendly Star Wars & Harry Potter Sets on The Way
SEND YOUR KIDS TO THE SCHOOL OF WITCHCRAFT AND WIZARDRY OR FLY THEM TO THE GALAXY FAR, FAR AWAY
LEGO have recently revealed a raft of new Star Wars and Harry Potter LEGO sets, scheduled for release on 1st January and 1st March 2024.
Each set is primarily aimed at younger LEGO fans, offering a great chance to get to grips with some kid-friendly brick-building challenges before moving on to the bigger sets when they grow older. And if we’re honest, there are some cute sets which could easily grace the desks of a few AFOLs, too…
If you’re looking for some fantastic birthday gift options for Star Wars and Harry Potter fans aged eight and over, these Wizarding World and force-worthy building toys are perfect for inspiring creativity, independent play and social interaction with friends and family.
Which Star Wars LEGO Models Are Coming Out in January 2024?
The new year kicks off with two fun sets, both available from 1st January 2024 –
Clone Trooper & Battle Droid Battle Pack 75372
The Crimson Firehawk is a shuttle piloted by Nash Durango in the animated series Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures. The series is the latest in Star Wars media set in the ‘High Republic Era’ of the galaxy, long before the prequel films and eventual Skywalker Saga took place. Fans of The Clone Wars will also be interested in the battle pack, which includes a hefty number of trooper minifigures and an exciting selection of battle droids. Check out the awesome Super Battle Droids and STAP flying droids in the image above!
Which Harry Potter LEGO Models Are Coming Out in March 2024?
1st March 2024 sees the release of six magical new sets for young builders –
Hagrid’s Hut: An Unexpected Visit 76428
Hogwarts Castle Boathouse 76426
Forbidden Forest: Magical Creatures 76432
Hedwig at 4 Privet Drive 76425
The stand-out set for us is the Hedwig on the Privet Drive sign, which would make a fantastic addition to our Harry Potter book collection when displayed on a shelf. The flying Ford Anglia also looks great, with two uniquely clothed Ron and Harry minifigures and the iconic blue car seen in The Chamber of Secrets.
The new buildable Wizarding World LEGO sets also include a detailed model of Hagrid’s hut and a section of the castle itself, both of which could conceivably offer interesting additions to pre-existing diorama layouts and scenes. The Hogwarts Boathouse, for instance, would make a simple but effective addition to a larger Hogwarts Castle MOC, which includes the Great Lake in some form.
