New Marvel 2023 LEGO Sets Released
GET READY TO FLY THE AVENGERS QUINJET, TAKE A SPIN WITH MILES MORALES, RIDE WITH GHOST RIDER AND FIGHT THE BATTLE OF WAKANDA
The first Marvel LEGO sets for January have been released, giving us something to kick off the new year with a bang with.
Included in the sets are the epic Avengers Quinjet and a Spiderman Miles Morales showdown with Morbius. Ghostrider also comes roaring in on his motorbike. Following the recent UCS Hulkbuster, collectors can now opt for a smaller version as part of the Battle of Wakanda LEGO set.
Let’s take a look at the new Marvel LEGO sets below…
The Avengers Quinjet 76248
We would be surprised if there was not near-universal agreement that the Quinjet is the most exciting of the new sets, recreating the epic sci-fi weaponised aircraft frequently used by S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Avengers superhero team.
As well as retractable and opening sections on the jet, the model includes numerous accessories and 5 minifigures: Black Widow, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and Loki.
With the stickers included, fans can decorate the craft with either the Avengers logo or S.H.I.E.L.D. markings.
The set is priced at $99.99.
Miles Morales vs. Morbius 76244
This is the first time we have seen vampire villain Morbius in LEGO minifigure form. And with the addition of a high-speed car and Miles Morales, this looks like a fun set to create an action-packed scene.
The set is priced at $24.99, offering an affordable option for a post-Christmas present.
Ghost Rider Mech & Bike 76245
The unforgettable Ghost Rider is built in LEGO mech style, complete with the iconic motorbike. We love the look of Johnny Blaze’s flaming minifigure skull head and the flame effects on the exhaust.
The set is priced at $34.99.
The Hulkbuster: The Battle of Wakanda 76247
The UCS Hulkbuster Ultron Edition divided opinion among LEGO fans, with many not seeing the need for such an expensive and large model for the mech armour suit.
Those on the fence may be more interested in grabbing the more affordable Battle of Wakanda, which includes a nicely detailed mega suit at just over five inches tall, along with iconic action heroes such as Bruce Banner and Okoye.
The set is priced at $49.99, offering a far more affordable option for those looking to own a creative brick model of the Hulkbuster.
