When you think of Marvel characters, many people don’t necessarily think of the X-Men first, as they seem to have taken a bit more of a backseat over the years. The X-Men first appeared in 1963; however, they were cancelled in 1970 due to poor comic book sales. 1975 saw this merry band of mutants all be replaced, except for Cyclops, who became the leader of the new X-Men. They then went on to become one of Marvel’s most successful franchises.

November 4th 2024 is the official release date to purchase LEGO Marvel 76294 X-Men: X-Mansion. However, LEGO Insiders will have early access to the set from November 1-3.

LEGO Marvel 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion is a beautiful two-story and fully modular build. This set is based on X-Men ’97, the animated series that premiered in March 2024.
This brick-built rendition of The X-Men Mansion features several rooms spread over the two floors. These include:
- Professor X’s Laboratory
- Wolverine’s bedroom
- Medical lab
- Classroom
- Lobby
- Library
The iconic Danger Room training facility is located to the left of the mansion. The mutants can enter this area via a sliding door. The training facility is designed so that you can customize it by moving the walls and various accessories around. Some of the included accessories are:
- Chainsaws
- Rockets
- Cerebro
- Laser
- Sentinel’s minifigure restraining device
The LEGO X-Mansion includes several interactive features, such as a roof that is decimated by the flick of a switch and a sliding, interactive whiteboard. LEGO Marvel 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion is an excellent set for all X-Men fans, both young and AFOL. It is going to look amazing on display, especially if you have LEGO Marvel 76281 X-Men X-Jet displayed alongside it. Another fantastic display option is having LEGO 76294 nestled in amongst other LEGO Marvel modular builds such as:
The X-Mansion building process can be completed by following the included printed instruction manual, or if digital is more your thing then digital instructions will be available on release.
CEREBRO GWP
LEGO 5009015 Cerebro has appeared on the LEGO website as a GWP. While there are no further details as to the purchase it will accompany, the rumour is that it will be with LEGO 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion purchases, which makes perfect sense. AFOLs and kids alike will be able to enjoy creating Professor Xavier's mutant-detecting device, Cerebro. LEGO 5009015 includes a LEGO minifigure of Charles Xavier seated in his wheelchair as well as a custom-printed Cerebro element. The brick-built console uses a transparent blue piece that displays Jubilee, the pyrotechnic sidekick to Wolverine. This GWP is amazing, and we can't wait to have this in our little mutant claws.
