The Best LEGO Employee Christmas Gifts from Years Gone By
THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF RARE AND EXCLUSIVE LEGO EMPLOYEE EXCLUSIVE SEASONAL SETS
Following the reveal of this year’s 2023 LEGO Employee Gift 4002023 Gingerbread House, we thought it would be fun to take a look back at some of the best LEGO seasonal employee exclusive sets from previous years.
The tradition began in 2008, with the simple LEGO Heart given to the hard-working elves at LEGO stores and offices worldwide. Despite the relative minimalism of the set, it’s now valued at over $1,000 on BrickEconomy. Since then, we’ve seen everything from Xmas-styled Star Wars ships to houses released.
Fetch a cup of cocoa and put your Christmas wrapping aside for a moment as we pick out a few of our favourite sets from the last 15 years of this fun holiday tradition…
4002019 LEGO Christmas X-Wing

Release year – 2019
This has to be our favourite LEGO holiday staff exclusive. The red-decked X-Wing offers a truly festive edition of the iconic Star Wars Original Trilogy starship, complete with North Pole laser turrets and hints of Christmas gold. Extras such as Yoda’s Christmas home and the sleigh are the icing on the Xmas cake, increasing the display potential of the model beyond more simple exclusive sets. The unique grotto cave also doubles as a base and display stand for the ship.
The model comes with a Master Yoda and a Yuletide Squadron Pilot (both in festive clothing) alongside R2-D2. Two of the LEGO Minifigures are exclusive to the set, making them highly collectable characters to own.
