World Art Day first began in 2012 and the date 15th April was chosen in homage to the birthday of Leonardo Da Vinci. The General Assembly of the International Association of Art declared World Art Day a celebration and the first one was supported by all the International Association of Art national committees. World Art Day is the best way to remind us all to observe the beauty around us and that it’s ok to express yourself.
