We're Gonna Need A Bigger Shelf - LEGO 21350 Jaws
FISH SUPPER ANYONE?
“They caught A shark. Not THE shark.”
Matt Hooper
Jaws, Steven Spielberg's 1975 classic that took the world by storm, is finally being bricked. Watch the LEGO Jaws movie on the official LEGO website.
Jaws was the first major movie filmed on the ocean, and as a result, it encountered no end of issues. The budget and the schedule were both well over and the mechanical sharks had a penchant for malfunctioning. As a result, Spielberg enlisted John Williams to create a theme that inferred the presence of the deadly predator. To this day, the da-dum da dum is known to one and all.
Jaws won several awards for music and editing. It was also the highest-grossing film of all time until two years later when Star Wars was released. In 2001, the Library of Congress selected it for preservation in the U.S. National Film Registry.
